Labor Day Events Present Canvassing Opportunities!

Canvassing for Single Payer is a great way to build our movement!

Speaking with and signing up those interested in having more information about M4SPH would be fairly easy while attending any of the several Labor Day Parades and Picnics around the state on Labor Day! Join Labor (these invites are through public education unions) and help celebrate and support Labor Unions around Michigan while reaching out to our brothers and sisters about Single Payer! Contact Laurie or Eli at info@michigan4singlepayerhealthcare.org if you're interested in getting materials for canvassing on Labor Day weekend!

If you choose to do so, contact us for literature that has the Eventbrite link; seating for the movie is limited to 120 people, so those interested must sign in through Eventbrite.)

As always, please take pictures of the fun, and send them to us here (along with the names of canvassers), so that we can share the good news about our grassroots movement!

(The melody to this piece by the inimitable Billy Bragg is from the song The Battle Cry of Freedom, a Civil War-era song sung by soldiers in both the Union and the Confederacy - with different lyrics for each side, obviously)
